Nine centuries of expansion, however, have taught us a hard lesson: True freedom is not anarchy.
The vastness of space has not only attracted pioneers, but also predators. Pirates, outlaws, and criminal syndicates—like the Nine Tails or the XenoThreat remnants—see freedom as a license to prey on the weak. They are the vultures that feast on the hard work of haulers, miners, and explorers. They are the antithesis of everything our founders stood for.
The UEMO Mandate: A Bulwark Against the Lawless
Let us be unequivocally clear: United Earth Military Operations stands in direct opposition to piracy and all forms of criminal enterprise.
Our “mercenary” work is not for the highest bidder, regardless of their morals. It is for the right bidder. We are a private military force operating with honor, dedicated to upholding the spirit, if not always the exact letter, of UEE law. Our core philosophy is simple:
Your freedom to live as you choose ends precisely where you attempt to violently infringe upon another’s.
This principle guides every contract we accept and every operation we launch.
Operations in the Modern Era
As a role-play focused organization, our members contribute to this mandate through three primary divisions, all of which reject criminal activities:
UEMO Security & Military Division: This is the tip of our spear. Our security forces engage directly in lawful operations across the ‘verse. This includes:
- Bounty Hunting: We hold top-level certifications to pursue and neutralize the UEE’s most wanted criminals, from petty ship-jackers to notorious pirate lords.
- Mercenary Contracts: We are the force you call to clear out hostile bunkers, defend critical infrastructure, and repel organized raids.
- Anti-Piracy Patrols: Our military wings actively patrol vital trade lanes, responding to distress calls and proactively dismantling pirate interdictions. We are the shield for the lawful citizen.
UEMO Exploration & Logistics Division: Honouring our UEST roots, this division funds our operations and expands our influence.
Secure Hauling & Mining: Our industrial arm transports valuable cargo and resources, protected by our own security details. We never engage in smuggling or transport stolen goods.
Exploration & Data: We chart new jump points, scan resource-rich asteroid fields, and sell our data to corporations and the UEE.
Search & Rescue: We believe in community. Our exploration ships often double as rescue vessels, aiding citizens stranded in the black.
